Our Story
ketch-Up was born from a simple question:
“Why is it so hard to meet like-minded women who just get you?”
Founded by Harshita in Sydney, ketch-Up began with a personal journey! After living across multiple countries and continents for 8 years, Harshita experienced firsthand the challenges of making authentic female friendships in new places.
Her journey inspired a mission: to create a safe and a welcoming space where women could bond over something we all love - "food".
A passionate advocate for women empowerment, Harshita launched ketch-Up in October 2024 after interviewing more than 150 women on the field to truly understand the problem that she was solving - to bring like-minded women together, whether they're new in town or just craving an intentional friendship.

At ketch-Up, we believe the best connections are made over shared experiences - especially when food is involved. We’re a community where women gather, share and form meaningful connections in a safe, inclusive environment.

Our goal is to connect women who may feel isolated or struggle to meet like-minded individuals. Through casual meetups and curated meetups, we create spaces where women can foster genuine, lasting relationships.
